East Coast Park, Singapore

As dull as it seems from the picture, that is what Singapore East Coast Park is to me. Went there for the first time with my work colleague and was kind of disappointed. A lot people been asking me, "Have you been to East Coast?", so I thought it is a place with pretty scenery (since it is at seaside with beach) that I have to go and have a look. All geared up to be greeted with this scene. Not much of scenery, so I turned to read the book I bought with me instead, but the weather sure ain't friendly with me on that day. =/

Oh well, perhaps I am at the wrong side of the coast.

Lotus Lake @ Bishan Park

One of the few lakes you can find around Bishan Park, with this one full of lotus. I wonder when is the flower season (if there is any?) so that I can add some pink into this view. Tried my best to exclude the sky when this picture was taken as the sky was kind of overcast that day, maybe I should go back and get another shot when the sky is in good mood. Adding some white and blue in this picture should looks better.

Here is the sunset view that greeted me (if there is sunset to be seen) everyday when I knock off from work. Captured from my room and this is one of the reason why I rush back home from work everyday :D

Penang, From the Hill

Went for a hike to the peak of Penang Hill with my ex-colleagues from ElSoft Research Sdn. Bhd. (one of the boss joined us this time!), just like how my intern life with them used to and had the chance to capture this shot this time when I hike with my camera.

It was a hazy Saturday morning, with a little bit of light ray penetrate through the cloud to fall on the Penang bridge.

Another view of Mount Fuji. Don't know why, for this series of picture of this landmark view I prefer it to be a little under saturate. Maybe it is because of the mood of the cloud. Hm... Wharton say you?

Island of Tourism

This is a view no stranger to people at Singapore, or to the tourists. Taken from Vivocity, showing where the island of tourism (or so I think) is. Having not been to that island (it is a small island linked by a simple bridge) before, if I am not mistaken, the orange building is Sentosa Ferry Terminal, while the buildings at the back is a part (or entrance of) Universal Studios, Singapore. Might save up to make a shooting trip to Universal Studios one day.

This is just a part of the whole of Tokyo Imperial Palace, yes the river surrounding the whole palace! A small little part of it, just imagine how big it is, and it is well preserved at the heart of Tokyo.

Botanical Garden, Singapore

There is this one day last week when I really had a bad day, really really bad day and I went to the mall after work and saw this particular scene when suddenly all the bad day thingy just replaced by the sudden sadness and sympathy.

Everyone is rushing around me, and then I saw this little boy, roughly the age of my little brother, a little bit chubby with spectacle, and standing at the side of the crowd finishing his chicken rice (those brown paper wrapped take away, not the polysterene box) on top of the trash bin! For the first time I had this kind of feeling, the sadness and sympathy on the little boy and wth the parents are doing? I do not know for what reason he is there standing and having his chicken rice on top of the trash bin, but it is definitely a scene sad to see.

If you are a parent, please be responsible for you children. If you are not a parent yet, please plan ahead for the sake of those little one who you will bring to life one day. They deserve a good and memorable childhood and family love!

That so much for being emotional, it is sad now even when recalling back on the scene to scribe those stuff on top.

The photo below was taken when I went for a walk at the Botanical Garden at Singapore. Not really as much of the stuff I had expected, but it is definitely a nice place for some family time and to relax yourself, if only the weather is good.

First year anniversary!

Its been a while now, thou not as consistent as last time, but still trying my very best to come out with some interesting pictures out of my boring work life at Singapore. Here is the compilation of some of the best pictures I have shared for the past year. How time flies and so many things happened in my life, good and bad. 1 year ago at this very date, I am still a student at MMU, struggling with my FYP, and here I am now working at Singapore. Wonder where will I be and where my blog is heading this exact date next year? @.@

Segenting, Batu Pahat

This is a sunset shot taken too early for sunset! But anyway it appear to be looking good so I just post it up here anyway. This is taken at the fisherman village of my humble hometown, few kilometers hilly ride out of town to reach here. Segenting is what they called it here, with a number of seafood restaurant and a popular temple resides at the seaside.

Here is a scene familiar to most if not all Singaporean, or anyone who lives near Singapore. This scene was shot at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade showing how the city comes alive at night.

Sensō-ji Main Hall, Asakusa

Alright, like F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. I am able to update the blog again! Its been years, being stucked at Singapore without my usual desktop, or any powerful-enough-to-edit-pictures laptop. The thing is, after being here for like more than 1 month now, nope I have not go around Singapore for some photo snapping yet.Lazy me. That brings me back to the remaining Japan pictures.

Here is the famous must go place at Asakusa, Tokyo. This is the front gate, Kaminarimon and to the far end lays this magnificent temple sleeping in the middle of the night. Love how the angry cloud formed at the back.

St. Paul Hill

If you ever been to Malacca as a tourist, this would probably a very familiar scene to you, the most popular tourist spot at Malacca, the St. Paul Hill. On top of it resides the St. Francis Xavier Statue and also the St. Paul Church (both can be seen inside this picture).

Tanjung Emas

Shot this picture when I went Muar for a short trip. A place that Muar people spend some quality time with family. Apart from that, there is one famous rojak stall at here and Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim is just somewhere nearby.
